What material heat resistant o rings used？

High temperature sealing ring is generally used: carbon fiber filled PTFE, temperature: 265 degrees, can be used for dynamic sealing. If used for static sealing, flexible graphite clip metal, temperature: 650 degrees.  


  • High temperature o-ring material properties

1. The material has good compactness and does not leak the material easily; 

2. Good compression and resilience, perfect deformation;  

3. High temperature resistance, no softening, no decomposition, one of the high quality elastomers;  

4. Good vacuum performance; 

5. Excellent physical and mechanical properties; 

6. Good electrical performance, hygroscopicity is lower than other elastomers, is a good electrical insulation material  

7. Ozone aging resistance, weather aging and radiation are quite stable.

As noted by the historian Michael Saler in "As If," his account of literary imaginary worlds, the great detective was modern fiction's "first virtual reality character" — given that part of his readership chose to believe that he was an actual person. The 1916 movie "Sherlock Holmes" (newly restored and released by Flicker Alley in a dual Blu-ray/DVD edition) grounds that character's virtual reality in a corporeal presence, namely that of the tall, craggy American actor William Gillette (1853-1937). Mr. Gillette, the son of a United States senator from Connecticut, was Holmes's contemporary.
