Classification of industrial belts

Industrial belts, as the name suggests, are belts used in industry. According to their use and structure, they can be divided into different categories. Compared with gear transmission and chain transmission, industrial belt transmission has the advantages of simple mechanism, low noise and low cost.

Industrial belts, automobile transmission belts and conveyor belts are used in different regions due to their respective characteristics.

(1) Industrial transmission belts: transmission belts are mainly used in electromechanical equipment and are driven by power generated by electric motors. General-purpose types such as household appliances, computers, robots and other precision machinery industries will be suitable for the belt series.

(2) Automobile transmission belt: a connecting device used to drive the mechanical work of an automobile engine. There are mainly agricultural machinery belts, high-speed oil-proof belts, round belts (round belts), flat belts, water tower belts (wide-angle belts), variable-speed belts, motorcycle variable-speed belts, V belts, parallel belts, multi-groove belts, hexagonal belts, Flexible belts, traction belts and car belts.

(3) Conveyor belt: Among all industrial conveyor belts, conveyor belts are the most widely used and are the most familiar conveyor belts. For example, the production line equipment is the most familiar and understood in the factory. As a representative of industrial conveyor belts, the choice of materials and the market are the most abundant and flexible, which is also one of his main characteristics. According to the material, it can be divided into cotton canvas conveyor belt, nylon (NN) conveyor belt, polyester (EP) conveyor belt, PVC or PVG conveyor belt.
