Is there room for development of thin-walled stainless steel pipes?

The emergence of thin-walled stainless steel pipes has developed a variety of connection methods, and has also been widely promoted because of its convenient connection, safety and stability, good sealing performance, non-burst, non-leakage, economic and durable and other significant application effects. Compared with plastic pipes, thin-walled stainless steel pipes are slightly better in terms of corrosion resistance and maintenance, and fully meet the needs of water network integration systems such as domestic water pipes and engineering and construction water supply pipes:


1. The alloy components in the thin-walled stainless steel tube produce passivation after oxygen reaction, and a thin and tough passivation film is formed on the surface as a protective layer for corrosion protection.


2. After the thin-walled stainless steel pipe is polished, the inner wall is smooth and frictionless, which further improves the hydraulic transport performance of the pipe in the water pipe system and saves consumption.


3. The stainless steel pipeline has high strength, strong corrosiveness, good toughness, excellent shock resistance and crack resistance.


Although the initial investment will be more expensive than plastic pipes, it does not require maintenance in the later stage and the service life is much longer than plastic pipes. In the long run, the advantages of thin-walled stainless steel pipes are far greater than plastic pipes, environmental protection and safety, so the use of stainless steel pipes will have a leapfrog sustainable development.
