Can stainless steel pipes be widely used?

Stainless steel pipe is a recognized safe and healthy material that can enter the human body. Nowadays, stainless steel pipe has been widely used. Stainless steel water pipe is a green and environmentally friendly material that meets safety and health standards. It can be recycled 100%, save water, reduce transportation costs, reduce heat loss, and prevent sanitary ware pollution.


The specific introduction is as follows:


1. Service life


Stainless steel pipes have the longest service life. From the analysis of the current situation of the application of stainless steel pipes at home and abroad, the application life of stainless steel water pipes reaches 100 years, at least 70 years, which is as long as the service life of buildings.


2. Corrosion resistance


One of the most prominent advantages of stainless steel pipes is its excellent corrosion resistance. Because stainless steel can passivate with oxidants, it is slightly better than all kinds of pipes.


3. Heat resistance and insulation


The thermal conductivity of stainless steel pipe is 1/25 of copper pipe and 1/4 of general steel pipe, which is very suitable for hot water transportation. The most commonly used stainless steel in the water industry is 316 and 304 stainless steel, which can meet most water treatment and transportation conditions.


4. Compressive strength


The tensile strength of 304 stainless steel pipe is twice that of steel pipe and 8-10 times that of plastic pipe. The compressive strength of the material determines whether the water pipe is strong, crash-resistant, safe and stable. Safety and stability are the most important criteria for building water supply. In the case of impacts from external forces or external factors, the probability of leakage from stainless steel water pipes is extremely small.


 


304 is a universal stainless steel pipe, which is widely used to make equipment and parts that require good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability). 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced in accordance with the American ASTM standard, which is equivalent to my country's 0Cr19Ni9 (0Cr18Ni9) stainless steel. 304 contains 19% chromium and 9% nickel. It is the most widely used stainless steel and heat-resistant steel. Used in food production equipment, general chemical equipment, nuclear energy, etc.
