What exactly is PVC?

PVC, full name is Polyvinylchlorid, the main ingredient is polyvinyl chloride, and other ingredients are added to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility and so on. The top layer of this surface film is lacquer, the main component in the middle is polyvinyl chloride, and the bottom layer is a back coating adhesive. It is a synthetic material that is loved, popular and widely used in the world today. Its global usage ranks second among various synthetic materials. According to statistics, in 1995 alone, PVC production in Europe was about 5 million tons, while its consumption was 5.3 million tons. Detailed explanation of seal standards for different materials

[Introduction] We are all quite familiar with seals. Because every aspect of our life is inseparable from such a small part. Let me give a few examples. There will be some sealing rings on the heating interface in the house, and there will also be some sealing rings on our gas equipment. There is a sealing ring on the water pipe, even for some drinks or bottles. This article mainly talks about the seal standard through the application direction of the seal wholesale . The seal material is not the same as the application direction, so there will be a variety of seal standards. Below we will specifically talk about a few different use cases for readers' reference.   The first is CR, which is a neoprene seal, which is very resistant to sunlight and weather. It has no effect on refrigerants such as dichlorodifluoromethane and ammonia, and has excellent properties such as resistance to dilute acid and silicone grease. In some mineral oils with a low aniline point, the amount of swellin

Testimony in Amanda Knox's murder trial today challenged prosecution arguments that bloody footprints at the crime scene belonged to Knox's co-defendant and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito.Knox and Sollecito claim they are innocent of the crime and that they were together in Sollecito's apartment on the night that Knox's English roommate, Meredith Kercher, was killed. The prosecution's argument that the bloody footprints belongs to Sollecito threatens their defense by placing him at the murder scene. Knox, 22, a Seattle student who was studying in Perugia, is accused, along with Sollecito, 25, of murdering Kercher, with whom she shared a cottage industry in this picturesque Italian hilltown. Kercher, 21, was found semi-naked with her throat slashed on Nov. 2, 2007.A third person, Rudy Guede, 22, was convicted in October 2008 and sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the murder. His name is Scott* and he's the manager at one of Tokyo's cheaper adult bars, I find out later, as I'm at the ATM downstairs drawing cash. He patiently waits for the money he's been promised. I know not to mess with this guy.I'm in a gentleman's club in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, sensor Tokyo's infamous red light district — aptly nicknamed the "Sleepless Town".For the Japanese, clubs like the one I'm standing in — which is closer towards the cheaper end of the scale — is for many men in Japan a secret sexual outlet and it is here where the country's sex industry thrives. Kabukicho is one of the world's most successful red light districts. Here, you'll even find information centres where foreigners can grab a map and information

Mind and Body – Ouch, it hurts!

As your baby grows inside you, your abdomen grows as well; your centre of gravity moves forward and you may find yourself leaning back to compensate. This puts stress on your lower back, and is one of the many factors that can lead to back pain. Carrying extra weight around your middle puts further pressure on your back muscles, especially if your abdominal muscles were a little weak to begin with. Even pain with a purpose hurts. But without defeating the purpose, you can conquer or, at least, manage the pain and discomfort. Here are some five common concerns and suggestions to ease back pain.Concern 1"My back pain is terrible. I'm worried I won't be able to stand up at all by the last trimester". clinical evaluation of the effect of anti-allergic mattress covers in patients with moderate to severe asthma and house dust mite allergy: a randomised double blind placebo controlled study

Abstract Backgroun d : The use of anti-allergic mattress covers in patients with asthma can result in a large reduction in the level of house dust mite allergen in dust samples. Apart from a reduction in histamine induced bronchial hyperresponsiveness, there are few data on the effect of mattress covers on clinical efficacy and quality of life in patients with moderate to severe asthma. Methods: Thirty patients with asthma and house dust mite allergy were studied in a randomised, double blind, placebo controlled study. Before and after using anti-allergic covers for 1 year, dust was collected from the mattresses to determine concentrations of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Der p 1), and bronchial hyperresponsiveness and quality of life were measured. The patients scored their symptoms (lungs and nose), morning and evening peak flow values, and rescue medication for 14 days before and after the intervention period. Results: There was a significant reduction in the concentration of Der

our heavenly, humble human hand

They have one of the most enormous jobs in our body, so when one doesn't work, it is complicated to make a new one, writes Lana Hart. They are always there: waiting, responsive, available to do our bidding whenever we want. They caress and tap and grasp at our command. They are designed to be stronger than they look and can convey some of the deepest of human emotions. A gesture of one can change the meaning of our very words or cause the most severe of offence. Only primates have them. Most of us have two. When they don't work properly or are injured, it profoundly changes our world. Of all the incredible organs in seal the human body, our hands have one of the most enormous jobs. We need their many abilities in nearly everything we do - work, eat, show emotions, create and fix things, communicate, clean ourselves. Our understanding of these loyal appendages is fairly patchy. Did you know that your fingers have no muscles? Or that – so complex are our many hand movement

DURHAM — Virtual reality, Google glass, 3D printers, drones. Those are technologies not often associated with the nuclear industry. But, at the Pickering nuclear station, the X-Lab has been incorporating these technologies to promote innovation, save money and possibly make money for Ontario Power Generation (OPG). Jason Wight, the director station engineering at the Pickering nuclear station, began the lab earlier this year, noting companies such as Google and Amazon have innovative centres. "They're doing crazy innovations. We took o-ring that concept and use it in the nuclear space and think differently of the work we do," Wight said. The lab has six or seven permanent staff and another 35 to 40 working part-time across the company. The lab is "across all sites and across all platforms," he said. During a recent joint meeting of the Darlington and Pickering community advisory councils, Wight said, "We really need to take advantage of the world's t

The Ontario high school teacher who moonlights as a wrestler

In Port Hope, the smell of hotdogs fills the air, and the colourful lights of the midway flicker in the night sky. Chris Gray, 34, long brown hair slicked back with conditioner for a sweaty effect, stands quietly behind a tent, a brawny figure in camouflage accessories. A little girl in a polka-dot dress, roughly the size of his leg, finds him, and they high-five. This day started hundreds of kilometres away, in Park Hill, Ont., where Gray awoke before his children to work out. Then he drove to London to teach English literature at an adult high school, and then another four hours in the car, to tell the oldest story in the world: good versus evil. Gray is an independent wrestler, and works for more than a dozen companies performing seal everywhere from small-town fairs to large arena shows. Tonight at the Port Hope fall fair, he is wrestling for Classic Championship Wrestling, an Ontario company that takes its family-friendly soap opera of body slams on the road. The promoter has a
